Jupiter Marvelous is a band that emerged in 2019, founded by Anthony Marcello. The inception of the group was sparked by a burning question: “Where is all the good old-fashioned pop music?” This query propelled Marcello to assemble a talented ensemble committed to reviving the energetic essence of classic pop. With a distinctive sound that intertwines robust blues riffs with massive drum beats, Jupiter Marvelous exudes a sense of playful irreverence that has been notably absent from the music scene in recent years.

In 2021 Anthony recorded The Weathervane EP alone in his aunt’s basement playing all the instruments and using limited recording gear, even so, it is a captivating exploration of sound that blends elements of indie pop and electronic music. The EP showcases the artist's unique style, characterized by ethereal vocals and lush instrumental arrangements that create an immersive listening experience. Here, Jupiter Marvelous employs a variety of sonic textures, utilizing synthesizers, acoustic instruments, and layered harmonies to craft a rich auditory landscape.
In 2024, Jupiter Marvelous released their debut full-length album titled "Isn’t This Supposed To Be Fun?"
Added into the fray are Jacob Quarrell on Bass and Vocals, Ben Nixon on Drums and Vocals and Shane Storozuk trading off lead guitar duties. Without them the machine wouldn’t go. They contributed so much to this album and will continue to be a huge part of this band. This album can be likened to a charcuterie board of mid-60s rock influences, offering a rich array of flavors characterized by explosive riffs and catchy melodies.
